Welcome...
You'll find a timetable below for the 'Daily Doses' for the week ahead. To join any of these and watch live as I demonstrate the activities simply visit the YouTube link and you should see me appear (fingers crossed) at 10:00am BST on a Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday.
To catch up on any previous 'Daily Doses' click the 'Past Doses' page from the top menu.
I've included information on the resources you'll need for each of the activities. I've tried to ensure these are simple to get hold of (no toilet paper is used!). I've also indicated what age ranges the activities are suitable for, but these are only rough guidelines as I've tried to make activities as accessible as possible for all primary age pupils.

Well now you can as in this week's Wonder Wednesday we'll make a secret telephone line! And, as it's World Ocean Week, we going to make it with plastic cups so they don't end up in the sea! 11/6/20 | Tinker like it's Thursday
Create stuff and learn through exploration This week's link: https://youtu.be/VRMw6JE-EF4 Title: OUT WITH A BANG! Description: For the last Tinker Like It's Thursday I thought we'd go out with a bang and tinker with an explosion! You'll want to do this one in either a sink, bath or outdoors... or you'll get messy (and smelly)! We'll explore a chemical reaction which is familiar to us as we used it for our jet boats, but this time we'll stop the gas from escaping anywhere until things finally go boom! Who'll create the loudest explosion?! Resources required: Baking soda, vinegar and a sandwich bag with a really good seal (the ones with the 'zip locks' work best!), few sheets of toilet paper Age: KS 1 or 2 |
